Wow, the place does looks comfortable for a cup of tea/coffee. :) Wish to have similar places around here! (so that my friends to have some waiting places, I am always late... haha.)

nice store ... selling Good Design & old fashion products, furniture, tablewares, CD, anything....
Also has a restaurant @ 1F . Delicious & creative food...
A little bit far from downtown though. -
Some of my favorite books are from here, very nice jazz music, good selection of old books.
If you are interested in Poems, Jazz, Spiritual things... you will love this book store. -
Hinomaruken is eurasian food restaurant.
My recommend food is tamyia.
Egyptian croquette tamyia is very delicious and healthy!! -
'Go Slow' is the lunch cafeteria at the IID (Ikejiri Institute of Design), a converted elemenatry school that now houses architects, designers, photographers and the like.
Lunch from 11:30 til 15:00, tea time from 15:00 til 18:00. Closed Mondays.

Nice bar/restaurant/cafe, not far from the ebisu station. Best tiramisu in the entire world.

CD/record store with an amazing collection of experimental electronic music, indie/alternative music, dance music. helpful staff, too.

This is one of my favorite museums. Even if this place doesn't have an interesting event, it's nice to check the museum shop or sit at cafe and read art books.
