Wow, the place does looks comfortable for a cup of tea/coffee. :) Wish to have similar places around here! (so that my friends to have some waiting places, I am always late... haha.)

I think I'll check it out when the wind stops blowing- it should be really nice to view the cherry blossoms from there.

A great little bar and kitchen, not far from Naka-meguro station, with large windows facing the tree lined river. Prices are reasonable and they serve good food, with an unexplicable fondness for Spam though.
Menu, staff and guests are Japanese.
The owners ran a bookshop before opening the combine, which explains the massive bookshelf covering one entire wall that you are welcomed to browse through while waiting for your always late friends.
The Combine is open until very late, they close whenever they feel like the party's over.
